toktumi to get free US number | iCall to make free US or Canada Calls

Yesterday, I got to know about a service called toktumi, which offers free US number to its users instantly. So, thought of using that, I downloaded the software and used. Here is the brief description of that and other popular service called iCall.

toktumi:

Pronounced as talk-to-me, is a wonderful service and the first one I am using of its kind. It provides a free US number instantly without any extension. Yes, it is a 10 digit US number. You can use it on computer i.e., you need a headphone and mic to use this service. You may use the option for call forwarding to your own number, but that is not for free.

I was assigned a number +1 928 268 0725, for which you may call me anytime and leave your voice message if I wont pick up after 4 rings (optional setting). The incoming call has no time limit. You can call any other toktumi user for free. I used another software called iCall to test this toktumi.

 

 

 

iCall:

iCall is a free calling service to US and Canada. The outgoing call is totally free but limited to 5 minutes. No problem, you can call again. iCall provides a clear voice service and it is a must try service when you want to call any US phone.

From iCall, I called to my toktumi number and found that both services provide a very clear voice quality. You can upgrade to iCall Pro with much better options like  free unlimited calls to US and Canada, your own number, forward calls to your phone, voicemail via email for FREE 3 day trial limit. Even for trial signup, you need to provide your credit card info.

Anyway, I recommend iCall for crystal clear, cheap (calling is free, I am speking about your internet charges) calls to US and Canada with 5min limit.
