If you own a website, you would be curious on the popularity of your website. Twitter being the most popular media today everyone tweet whatever happens in their life at the moment. If you find something interesting or useful, you tweet the same to share with friends. All twitter applications use URL shortners (like tinyurl, bit.ly etc) which makes it tough for website owners to track the discussions about their websites as there are multiple URL shortners providing shortened URLs.

Spy twitter backlinks for your website

It is not even possible for you to search on twitter to see all tweets of your domain. If you want to know what discussions are going on at twitter without your awareness, BackTweets is the service for you. BackTweets searches for tweets linking to your domain irrespective of URL shortening service used. This can get you all the tweets going on about your website.

Coming on to advanced search options, you can search in more detail about which URL, who tweeted / to whom it was sent and date range of tweet. If you wish to have email alerts set up for tweets on your site, you can get that and in the interval which you specify.

I like this dude. But it’s still lagging behind it’s accuracy.

@ Tech,

Do you feel its not accurate? could you please give an example where it failed. I just want to know if it fails…

looks good enough for a startup service. Thanks for letting us know 🙂

Great tool, thanks Pavan

I learned about this service a few days ago and even mentioned it my great reads post. I liked it a lot and I agree that it needs something extra to get more users. I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s missing something.
