Largest Product Review Site “Test Freaks” Launched for India

If you are a geek who is keen to be updated with latest gadgets and gizmos, you are most expected to know the famous testfreaks.com. Test Freaks has now launched a product review website for India. The speciality of TF compared with other review websites lies in the fact that it works like a aggregate of different data spread all over the internet. It collects different expert reviews, user reviews, blog posts, forum discussions and you can also ask questions for users when you find some doubt about any product. Apart from this unique presentation, it also has few common and most required data like manufacturer specifications, product overview etc.
This also specializes in providing with vast number of snapshots of products along with video reviews and descriptions. Of course, many other sites provide them, but if you look at the amount of data provided, you will be amazed. Out of curosity, I checked the image and video gallery for Nikon D60 Digital Camera, and found 150 images and 8 videos :O . If you want to look at other stats on which factors they rank the product, the numbers are beyond your imagination for a new website – The ranking was based on 133 expert reviews, 1273 user reviews, 51 forum threads from 317 sources in 34 countries. This stats is what which impressed me to give them a review here.
This site is still in an initial state and currently it does not have much categories, but the categories listed till now are complete with updated information and product reviews. And my favorite cell phone category was completely updated with all latest mobile phones and rankings. Sorting it on the ranking basis, I found Nokia N97 tops the list with 10 / 10 points followed by Nokia E71. I was impressed a lot by the interface and functionalities the portal has got. What I miss currently in this is the computer and laptop reviews which is most required on such website as it will be a guideline for new buyers. Hope this will be added soon.
