Akismet Filters Genuine Comments As Spam

I have used akismet since the day I started up with wordpress. My general setting is to delete the spam comments which are more than one month old. So, I usually don’t bother about looking about spam comments. Yesterday, I just went through the spam comments and was amazed to know few genuine comments are also marked spam. Guys please review your spam comment list so that you will not lose genuine comments and also the commentators. And if you find my comment there, despam it, I never spam anyone 
I think things are getting wrong with akismet, just a few days back the real spam was held for moderation – it was reported by some other bloggers too, and now, genuine comments are marked spam. De-spam genuine ones and show trust in your commentators. Keep checking the spam comments list regularly or switch to other similar plugins.

Well, Akismet has been really good for me somehow. 99 out of 100 spam comments will genuinely be spam itself. Whether it starts screwing up when the number of comments a blog gets each day is beyond a certain number is a possibility!
